  • Assemble on a soft, non-abrasive surface to avoid scratching.
  • We recommend an area approximately 5’ x 8’ for unobstructed assembling.
  • Do not overtighten screws; some force may be required to drive screws.

Assembly & Installation Steps

Step 1

Step 1: Assemble on smooth surface

  • Assemble on soft surface to prevent scratching.

Step 2

Step 2 - Push rail (part A) against wall and insert slats

  • Push the bottom rail (A) up to a wall to hold slats in position during assembly. Place pickets (B) inside the bottom rail (A) one by one.

Step 3

Step 3 - align/insert Pickets (part B) into rail (part A)

  • Align the top rail (A) just beneath the pickets (B). Insert pickets into top rail.

Step 4

Step 4 - Install screws (part D) into Rail (part A)

  • Install 5/8" screws (D) to secure the rails once aligned.

Step 5

Step 5 - Insert stakes (part C) through rails (part A)

  • Install stakes (C) between rail ends to secure panels together.

Step 6

Step 6 - Tap stakes (part C) with hammer and wood block

  • Use a scrap wood block to protect stakes. Tap gently with a hammer.
  • Check for level every few taps.
  • Leave 1.5" of the stake exposed if raising the panel.

Step 7

Step 7 optional raise using ring stop and screws (F and E)

  • (Optional) Use 1 1/4" screws (E) and stake ring stop (F) to raise the panel off the ground as shown.

  • Do not overtighten screw.

Step 8

Step 8 optional raise panels for slope

  • (Optional – For Sloped Ground) Step panels by installing the lower panel beneath the stake ring stop (F).
